I just recently moved to Eugene from a large city with a chain rotating sushi place and 541 Sushi Bar blew it out of the sky. The fish was fresh, flavorful, and well-priced. The prices are the same whether you eat-in or order to-go, which I appreciate. Also, other sushi places these days almost never have real wasabi, just that fake horse radish stuff, but 541 Sushi Bar does. I studied abroad in Japan and have been chasing the real deal ever since-- this is it! It will burn your nose hairs off the way god intended, so proceed with caution if you're used to having to add a ton to get any spice at all. I got my nigiri to-go, but I'm looking forward to dining in sometime soon. Sometime veeeery soon.
The staff is extremely nice and kind! It's family owned which I love. A very clean place with lots of seating. Parking is a bit of an issue since it's downtown. They have a lot of food, not just sushi! I love how they prepare the sushi in front of you so you can see how fresh it is!
This is a very welcoming place with really well made sushi and Ramen. Right downtown with parking. The prices are reasonable with a good assessment on the menu. They have vegatatarian options as well.
Good for a quick bite. For conveyor belt sushi it tasted fresh and had good variety. Each plate is $3.50.
